This place is fantastic. I rarely do reviews but this business is special and one of a kind in my experience of camping stores. I took my kids there a second time to show them how old fashioned honest customer service works. Lovely knowledgeable staff who don't push you and ask what you need and advise accordingly. Very reasonable prices and furthermore the owner gave me a discount for no reason. I said it's ok but in a great Irish accent told me that his decision was final. What a shame they don't have branches around Australia.

The BEST store for all things! Variety, quality, uniqueness. It's like a treasure trove for the adventurer. The family that run it are fantastic - know their stuff and want you to have the best product for your needs. If you appreciate quality, after going to the NT General Store, you'll never go anywhere else.

I desperately needed some new work boots. I couldn’t find my size anywhere. Found out that these guys had the boots I needed and my size and called them to purchase over the phone and have a friend pick them up. Service was amazing. Thanks you so much!

Awesome store, with character. The best outdoor store I have been to anywhere (worldwide). Almost worth a visit to Darwin just to look around this store. Such a diverse range of outdoor products/stuff. Great to have a store where you can physically check out what you’re looking to buy. Went three times in my NT trip 😬. …

Store full of character and everything from camping stuff to hats to anything and everything, lots to see and photograph outside. We bought two hats, staff were very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend a visit, you don’t k ow what you may find!

Superb place and awesome helpful staff.. ( lady did call me back for an enquiry I made which is fantastic) Nice variety of HATs and Caps Good feeders and pet snacks They have a variety of the camping/ hiking stuff- pot ware cutlery pans clothing Crocs slippers/ shoes and other safety and hiking footwear U can even order/ buy winter rainy jackets or body warmers if U plan to visit a colder place... I found water socks and a small feeder for my birds and some bamboo socks unique colours so looks nice... Great stuff so definitely check it out if U r at nearby Woolies or chemist warehouse or around the BIG Boab tree area as this shop cnnt be missed for sure ...and wat gem U find there when U r on Ur search U never know ..
